Introduction

You must have heard about how nature helps us in healing our souls. But how? Just why does our mood get better when we take a long walk in a place that is filled with trees and flowers, i.e. nature? That’s because we are also a part of nature itself! We are born from it and we die in it, this means that ultimately we all return to our mother nature. So, it is obvious that a child will always feel safer and better in her mother’s arms than any other place. And since we are all children of nature, of course we will always want to go to her when things in life get difficult.

The Healing Power of Nature

Now, we know that our green environment has an immense power of healing, whether someone is sad, angry, depressed, anxious, etc. by s[ending some time in nature can make them feel better. This is because nature not only heals our inner selves, but also helps us in keeping our body healthy. How? The answer is very simple, it keeps us healthy because nature has fresh air, water, food and a soothing environment. It is obvious if we experience these things our body will naturally start to become better. The stress we accumulate by living in the city vanishes when we go into nature. That is also why athletes practice more in areas with trees or forests than in the city, as it gives them natural energy which no energy drink can provide.

Holistic Approaches Leveraging Nature

Now, going into greenery does not necessarily mean that you go into a dense forest or a village. You can go on a vacation but of course you cannot go there on a daily basis. So how will you approach the natural world? The only thing you have to do is make some time for yourself either in the morning or evening and go into a nearby park or a place with greenery. There you can do many activities such as yoga, laughing exercises, meditation, walking, or just admire the beauty of nature itself by looking at trees, flowers and birds.

If not anything, just go barefoot on the soil and walk on it for sometime. You will feel relaxed throughout your body as the soil works as an acupuncture, opening all nerves of your body. This way you will not only get healthy but you will also be able to build a connection with your mother nature and once you make it a habit of yours, it will benefit you for a lifetime.

Conclusion

Forming a connection with our environment should be done by each and everyone not just for your health but also for knowing the origin of your existence. Also when you keep interacting with it you will find out that your problems were never big. Healing through nature is, you can say, the best therapy which you can find on earth!
